Tap Cub

I created the Branding and Visual Style of an app called Tap Cub, for a client by the name of Warren Wan.  Warren is a Project Manager based in New York, who has previously worked on sites such as eHarmony and Yahoo, and he contracted me to develop
the visual branding for this project.

Initial Logos

These were the initial logos I created for the client.  We communicated back and forth over various emails, phone calls, and Skype conversations discussing style, and typography choices.  I created various rough comps of different logos combining different graphics and type in each one.  The four fonts shown were fonts the client had in mind, so I tried each of them with various logo colors/styles.  We both decided that we preferred the Snoopy Snails font the best for this brand identity, so we purchased that font to use as the branding for the logo and website/app.

Finalized Logos

From the initial logos created, the client chose one particular logo over all the others.  He also forwarded me mood board images with color palette examples.  I used these colors as inspiration for the final logo and background/type colors as well.  The colors of the logo also coordinated with the background illustration below, for the bear in the logo is the same bear in the background, so it had to match accordingly.

Home Page / Log-In

Here was the background painting created showing a storytelling image of the bear mascot used in the logo.  Also is the overall UI design and layout of the typography, and how users would log into the app site.
